Bronx is in New York, in the Northeast, where four distinct seasons shape local life: hot humid summers, snowy winters that can close businesses for a day, and a dense pattern of towns where walking, transit and street parking all matter. US addresses list the street number and name, then the city, state abbreviation and ZIP code, and Bronx follows the same pattern; a suite or apartment number such as Ste 200 refers to a unit inside the building. The map link on this page shows the exact spot.

The Edible Academy, NYBG provides a delicious way to learn about food and where it comes from. All this in highly urban NYC. plants still grow and can be enjoyed with the guidance of well informed docents. Samples of foods grown right there in the garden for your educational and gustatory enjoyment.

We were celebrating my daughter's 12th birthday with a trip to the NYBG to see the Kusama art collection. The tram stopped at the family garden and we decided to hop off. I'm so glad we did. It was one of my daughter's favorite parts of the day. It's a totally hands-on experience. There were so many activities to choose from. She chose to dig for bugs, do a scavenger hunt, and plant lettuce to take home. The garden staff were super friendly and knowledgeable.
